Prime Time Entertainment of the Middle Ages: that's what these stories are. Eugene Mason has translated many of the tales that entertained those Knights in Shining Armor and their friends. He has chosen many of Marie de France's stories which were popular throughout Europe.
A few of these stories are in the previous collection by Mason, Aucassin and Nicolette and Other Medieval Romances and Legends, but many are new to this edition and all here now have great pictures.
The illustrations and title page decorations for each story are beautifully done by Reginald L. Knowles. These images are large and so will take another age to upload. Because of this they each have their own page, so you can click NEXT at the top of the page and bypass the pictures, if you wish, and go straight to the text of the stories themselves.
